Удобство работы с деревом определяет не столько столешница, сколько конструкция и прочность стола к которому эта столешница прикручена. Здесь проще было бы и лучше сменить столешницу у этого верстака, тем более что верстак уже стоит, занимает место и городить на него вторую крошечную столешницу не имеет смысла.

Took me three tries but I got it done. Using my battery drill I managed to get 46v out of my 3 wire motor. Mine was an older version so it only had 3 wires per strand not five but I’m really happy I got it. Thank you for your video guidance.

Couldn't you replace the Allen screws with 2 wooden knobs so you don't have to use an Allen key all the time? I believe it would be a good improvement.

It’s 2024. Track saws are as ubiquitous as pocket hole jigs. In ten years you’ll still have it and you won’t even remember what you paid. And a plunge saw is SO MUCH nicer and even safer than a regular circular saw.
